Mischa Greig [she.her], MA, RCC

My Approach

I adopt a collaborative & experiential approach that recognizes you as the expert of your own life. My role is to guide you in self-inquiry & deepen your self-awareness. Together we will deconstruct narratives that suggest inadequacy, fostering an environment that promotes self-determination.

Mischa is insightful, thoughtful & patient. I feel safe sharing here & leave with hope & new realizations or strengthened/validated convictions as well as more to think about & learn. Thank you.
— Client Testimonial

I am dedicated to reflecting on the impacts of oppression & critically examining how these issues are often misrepresented within the Western colonial framework of psychology. My goal is to create a space that embraces the complexities of human experience, honors the nuances of individual stories, & supports transformative shifts away from those that no longer serve you.

With gentleness & curiosity I will support you to cultivate greater feelings of congruence, harmony, & integrity in your life. I believe that the therapeutic space is sacred, & I deeply respect the vulnerability that it takes to show up & share your journey with me.

My Story

I am a white cis-gender settler of German, Scottish, & Irish ancestry, currently residing on the traditional territory of the lək̓ʷəŋən peoples, including the Songhees, WSÁNEĆ, & Esquimalt First Nations, known as Victoria.

My journey into this career has been anything but linear. I integrate my diverse personal & professional experiences to shape how I engage in the therapeutic space. As an artist & creative, I harness the power of imagination & wonder, while my background in Anthropology & Sociology equips me with a critical lens that scrutinizes dominant narratives that can exclude or diminish voices & bodies.

With a decade of experience in support work, I have developed a deep appreciation for non-verbal expression & I understand the limitations of words alone. My personal experience with unfitting therapeutic support have highlighted to me the value of a good therapeutic fit with meaningful connection. My personal & professional experiences have helped me to understand how connection can facilitate a felt sense of safety, expansive self-inquiry, & transformation in one’s healing journey. Let’s cultivate that meaningful connection & unlock the transformative potential of your healing journey!
